Lettie is interested in advancing the design of learning technologies while understanding their real world use. She has a bachelors degree in industrial design from North Carolina State University, where she was a Caldwell Fellow. She is currently studying human-computer interaction and learning technologies at the University of Michigan's School of Information. Lettie also spent two years in AmeriCorps, working in adult basic education as an ESL tutor, volunteer coordinator and program assistant.
