Shenandoah Weiss is part of the ISKME research and education teams, helping to manage the scope, coordination and evaluation of ISKME projects. She is passionate about cross discipline collaborations, and is particularly interested in improving ways to measure student learning and project impact. Shenandoah received her Master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Chicago and has spent her career focused on understanding and interpreting the learning that happens in formal and informal learning spaces. She has over a decade of experience coordinating programming, outreach, and evaluations for nonprofit, museum and government institutions including the City of Chicago Office of the Mayor, University of Chicago Center for the Presentation of Science, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, as well as a number of Bay Area organizations including Stanford Jazz Workshop, KIPP Bay Area Schools, San Francisco Film Society and KQED.
